The truth hurts but it will set you free.

Johnny has been in the ministry since 1994. In 1995 he won the GPGMA Male Vocalist of the Year and in 1996 he was the entertainer of the year. He toured with Vern Jackson for 3 years and in 1997 signed with Ajalon Records out of Nashville TN. In 1998 Johnny started a ministry called RideRight where they taught kids about Jesus using rodeo training. That ministry took him to Great Falls Montana. It was in 2000 when things began to unravel. He became addicted to pornography and hid it from his wife and even lied to himself as to the severity and damage it was causing in every area of his life. At that same time, his wife took ill and they moved back to Michigan. He temperarily got control of his addiction and became the Associate Pastor of Southgate church in Toledo, OH.   His road to recovery was long and hard. Johnny and his wife could not save their marriage and Johnny stepped down as Pastor and Noelle divorced him.

Johnny met Gale in 2008 and she made him attend Cornerstone Church in Maumee, OH. Bishop Michael Pitts began to allow Johnny time to just sit and be restored. He sent Johnny through a program called Restoring the Foundations. In 2012, Gale and Johnny were married. In 2013 Johnny was given a word that it was time to recover what was lost and to finish the race before him. "God has done a major work in my life. He has allowed me to learn what true relationship with Him really means." "My heart is to reach out to others and be transparent about what happens when you are a superficial Christian and how God truly needs them to get real!" "If God can forgive me and restore me, then He can do it with anyone." "I am truly sorry to all the people I have hurt in my past. Many people may think I don't deserve grace or to be able to be used by God ever again. They would be right. However, I promise I will work hard for the rest of my life to help people not make the same choices and mistakes I made." Just know this, what you do in private will be screamed from the roof tops. If you are in a secret sin now of any type, get a hold of me. I will NEVER judge you and will only work with you to see your life fully rescued and completely set free! Gale and Johnny have gone full time back into the music ministry. "I am a believer... I believe in God, Grace and the Gift of Salvation!"

Huge News from Johnny Rowlett Ministries

EXTREMELY EXCITING NEWS!

We just got the word from our Attorney that we are now officially a non-profit organization.
We just got our EIN# !!!

This means we can now receive financial gifts from anyone and be able to give them a Tax write off.
This month we have already received lots of support.
I am working with him to see if these benefits can be retro-active.
The timing of this could not be any better. As we come to the end of this tax year,
If you need a tax write off,
please consider Johnny Rowlett Ministries. We will get you a tax receipt.

We are so thankful to all of our partners and friends that help us get down the road.
We are reaching people with the truth of hope and restoration.
We are seeing many people saved and brought into the kingdom as new believers.
However, we are also seeing people re-commit their lives and get real with God
about where their lives are and where they should be.
We want men and women to get beyond being the superficial Christian
and get down to the core issues that are keeping them from the fullness of relationship with Father God!
Our goal is to work with local pastors in the belief that Cities can be won!
Sometimes these churches are very small and can not afford to pay us much if at all.
These to me, are the ones that need the most help.
I never want to tell a church no because of their size.
Across the country these small churches do amazing work and we want to help them.

Gale and I have a unique ministry with a powerful yet simple message.
We are thankful to you all and look forward to an amazing 2014!

Even Santa Oughta Know...but in love lol

Even Santa Oughta Know

I've got a song out that most people seem to love and is kinda funny. The title says it all. "The skies, the seas, the land, the trees and even rudolfs nose was made by baby Jesus and Even Santa Oughta Know". Although humorous it really strikes a chord with many Christians this time of year. I can always feel my brother and sisters hair standing up at attention when someone says Merry X-mas or even Happy Holidays. I get it trust me, being a child of the God and feeling our kingdom is under attack is very real. However, I want to introduce a new thought. God doesn't need us picking a fight with people over this He needs us picking a fight with the real enemy. He needs us to stay focused on the real battle which is souls be stolen from my Father God! I'm not sure that we should be mad at people but rather staying in love and leading them to the true meaning of Christmas. We celebrate the virgin birth of Jesus who would, in love, willingly lay down his life so that ALL men may find true peace and true grace. He was completely pointing all of our attention to the God of the universe and saying with his actions. He loved you so much He sent me to die for you! I believe God doesn't really need us walking around mad because the world is acting like...well, the world. He has called us to lovingly lead them to their God! Just a thought...Love y'all!

If your gonna put a saddle on it, enjoy the ride!

Help Is Here

Many people have received Jesus as Savior and Lord. They will go to heaven, but never draw on the full capacity of the Holy Spirit that is available to them or experience the true success God wants them to enjoy on Earth. Simply put, many will be on their way to heaven, but they won't enjoy the trip.

We often look at those who have wealth, position, power and we consider them "successful." But many people who are considered successful still lack peace, joy, contentment, and other true blessings. Such people have never learned to depend completely on the power of the Holy Spirit.

People who are self-sufficient often think depending on God is a sign of weakness. But the truth is that by drawing on the ability of the Holy Spirit, they can accomplish more in their lives than they ever could by working in their own strength.

God created us in such a way that although we do have strengths, we also have weaknesses and we need His help. We know He wants to help us because He sent a Divine Helper, the Holy Spirit, to live inside us.

We often struggle needlessly because we do not receive the help available to us. I encourage you to depend on Him, not on your own strength. Whatever you are facing, you don't have to go through it alone.

God's word for you today: Your worst day with God will be better than your best day without Him. The Holy Spirit is here to speak to you and help you in every way you need help today.

Trash can!

This morning while prayer walking in a very nice neighborhood in Murfreesboro Tn. I noticed everyone had the same big beautiful trash can. They were not at all like the burn barrel I had in Montana. As I walked around the corner I noticed one can that had fallen over. It was empty and was blocking the persons drive way. I guess when the trash truck picked it up and dumped it, they didn't set it down correctly and it fell over. I continued to walk around it and about 2 houses down, I felt like God was telling me to go pick it up and set it right. I kinda argued with myself and thought "that's stupid." Then I felt like God was showing me that if I didn't, the owners of that house would have to pull up, stop and get out of their car and have to move it. I thought well, I guess I could pay it forward and be nice and do this good gesture. By now, I am three houses down. So, I turned around and went and grabbed the can and stood it up right. When I did, I got some gunk on my hand and was like .... "Dude!" I imeadiately heard in my spirit "when you help up the fallen, you gonna get dirty". It's a dirty job but somebody has to do it!

As children of Father God, we are in the restoring business. Peoples lives are messy, trashy even. He has called us to lovingly help people pick themselves up and get back on the right path. It may be dirty and sometimes rough but if you will be intentional and walking in love God will bring people to you and bless you beyond measure. I got no reward for picking up those peoples can. They will never know I got some of their gunk on my hands. However, God knows and He saw my heart and that's what really matters. I love Him and His people.

Johnny

My daughters horse lesson

My daughter, Ashley, had this horse. She, like most teenagers, got busy and her horse became less and less of a priority. Anyone who knows anything about horses knows that you must work a horse, staying on top of the relationship and continuing to engage him and love on him. If you don't spend time with said horse, he will naturally revert back to its first or "fallen" nature. One day, after weeks of pleading with my daughter, continually reminding her to go ride and work her horse, she finally decides to obey. As we walk out to the pasture, ashley whistles and her wonderful horse comes running. As he rubs his head on Ashley's face, my daughter simultaneously feeds him an apple and gives me the sarcastic look of "see daddy, I got this". I walk away to get the lunge line and other equipment as my daughter continues to saddle the horse. From all outward appearances, it looks as though daddy is wrong and is just being too hard on his teenager.
Then, Ashley is in the midst of trotting the horse around the pond. As she comes around the back side, the horse sees me and then sees the barrels my daughter had run with him for years. When he sees those barrels, this horse, who has done so well I'm the past, decides that the fun, wonderful, awesome days are over. He breaks into a full gallop and just about the time he gets near me he blows completely out, hurling my daughter 10 feet into the air. As she hits the ground, she rolls in the dirt and I look at her in horror, thinking that she has just broken her back. Praise God all she received were some bruising. However, the horses outcome was not so good. I went into the house, put my boots and spurs on, put that horse in the Round Pen where he and I had a full blown rodeo right then and there. Some of the neighbors even brought their lawn chairs out for the spectacle. My daughter learned a great lesson that day; however, God showed me a great life lesson that day as well.
You see, we as Christians sometimes can live a very superficial existence. We can come to church and say all the christianese words and phrases that so many have become accustomed to. For example, how are you frank, "Oh brother, I am blessed and highly favored". And from the outward appearance that we so fiercely protect, everything seems fantastic. But just below that surface is a little bit of a sore spot, an area of hurt and pain that is hidden away. You see, a cowboy will take a horse in the round pen and he will continue to work down further and further, using a series of pressure/release tactics. He wants to have that horse expose his hidden issues in that round pen, in an arena of love where there's a relationship of trust. The cowboy would rather it be exposed in that atmosphere rather than in a place outside of the round pen that may cause real pain and could even become dangerous. The key of the horses master is to root out all the levels of old nature until he has a fully broke, fully submitted horse that has changed it's nature so much that all he truly wants to do is the masters will. A fully broke horse is a horse that is grateful to the horseman for his blessed life.
I am sure by now that you can see the parallel. Every one of us has issues, and my point here is to plead with you to submit them to the Master and bring them into the round pen where God can deal with them with love and help you to fulfill what he called you to be. I would even go so far as to say the round pen should be the church. The right church and pastor should be a place where you can be real and root deep down to expose those issues in the correct environment rather than them being exposed in a setting that can bring absolute destruction. My friend, find a good church and start your round pen experience today!
